We are now well underway with the preparation of the entire site. For example, the dredging of phase 1 was completed today.

In addition, excavation of the current land base has begun. These raw materials are directly reused in the areas where we are in the process of attenuating the water. On the areas where the land bottom has been excavated, mixed granulate is now being applied to strengthen the soil.

By reusing the raw materials on our own site, we minimize transport distances and therefore CO2 emissions. In this way we want to contribute to a circular economy. Throughout the project we will apply this to many more components.
