Our ultimate goal is to set a new standard for sustainable superyacht shipbuilding, and we're doing this by investing heavily in research and development. Through this, we're providing innovative and eco-friendly solutions for the industry and building state-of-the-art facilities to make the path towards sustainability easier. Building in a Circular Way
At our shipyard campus, we are committed to building in a circular way that minimizes waste and reduces carbon footprint. We will prioritize the use of sustainable materials, including recycled and repurposed materials, as well as materials that can be reused or recycled at the end of their life. We aim to to minimize construction waste by implementing waste reduction struction strategies and recycling productions.
Energy-generating Buildings
All buildings on the shipyard campus will generate electricity that will be used to power the facilities, buildings, and yachts. By covering all roofs with solar panels and insulating all buildings to perfection, they can generate enough electricity to power the buildings themselves and even store any excess energy. Adding to this, wind turbines will be installed to generate even more clean energy, taking advantage of the windy climate in the Netherlands. Rainwater will also be collected and reused for various purposes, further reducing their environmental impact.
With these zero-emission buildings, the Dutch Superyacht Tech Campus is contributing to a more sustainable future, reducing green gas emissions and meeting renewable energy targets while lowering energy costs for their tenants.

This can also involve partnering with universities and other institutions to promote research and development in the field. Smaller Footprint: Green Refits
Gathering all companies involved in building, refitting and maintaining yachts to work on one location together we aim to significantly lower the carbon footprint of each yacht shipyard work. This collaborative effort will serve as a model for other industries looking to reduce their environmental impact.
